Audio Systems: s-10 radio wiring, s10 blazer, radio wiring

i cant wire my new cd player wires to my factory wires    would u be able to tell me what the color codes are for my 98 s-10

 ok you have made the first and biggest mistake which is cut the factory plug off.. if you can wire it back on color for color and go to radio shack and buy a wire harness adapter about 10 bucks this will wire into your new unit color for color then plug into the factory harness plug so you have no guess work .. now if you cant and in most cases you cant wire back on your in for alot of agrevation but since you have an S10 your in luck and have saved yourself about 20 bucks because i own an S10 , Blazer and a Camaro all late model so i have all the manuals and diagrams on them and normally you would have to track down one and buy it to get out of the bind.. but i have the wire schematic uploaded to a website its an acrobat file so you will need that to view it but it should help guide you into getting your wires straightened out
