Hello Mr. Tom ,  I have a 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D  and am looking to install a after market cd and I want to do this myself could you please explain how to do this ?

Hello Sam,
Most DIN type/size should fit into the dash cut out for your car. You may be able to use the existing speakers, if not new speakers are fairly easy to install. Check into any car stereo store to see what stereos they have to offer. A company called CrutchField should have installation instructions for any stereo that you purchase.
