Audio Systems: CD is stuck, subaru forester, single cd player

Question
I have a company installed single cd player. The radio works but the cd player will no longer eject or play. I have a 2002 Subaru Forester. Is there anything I can do to remedy this or do I have to buy a new stereo?

 it shouldnt have gone out so soon but ifr its a 2002 model it still should have a warranty so that would be first on my list have a dealership look/replace the unit .. if the mileage is to high for warranty its time for a replacement you can get a good aftermarket unit with everything you need for under 100 bucks or over 300 depending on how much performance and features you want just make sure to buy a wire harness adapter to make the install easy .. the reason i say replacement is because if the unit was just not playing cds and giving an error you have a few cheap options like cleaning the lens ect.. but if it jams and wont play then the motor / laser or other major component is more than likly burnt out .. hope this helps you out if you need anythign else let me know
