Why does my newly installed eclipse car cd player cut out when i turn the volume up to mid range

i really need some more information like aftermarket or stock , brand , factory speakers , aftermarket, amps and subs ect.. but i will give you the easiest tip did you use a wire harness adapter ? if you cut the factory harness i cant help you unless you can wire it back on and go buy an adapter .. if you did clip the wires you need to buy a haynes repair manual for your specific car and use the wire schematic to help you trace down the correct wires .. this is the most common problem with speaker cut out or not working after an install ... but let me have some more info and details on what is going on and i will see what i can do for you
