Audio Systems: car audio wire code, car stero, model chevy

hi   i was wanting to hook up a different car stero  and need to know wwhat my wire codes r for factory stero so i can hook up new one   like example  black wire ground wire  its for a 93 lumina thanks

  ok i will give you my professional advice then give you the answer ... you dont have to worry about wire codes .. if you are wanting to install an aftermarket unit all you need is a 10 dollar harness adapter which you can buy at radio shack or even wal-mart .. this adapter is specific to your car and will wire into the new units harness then simply plug into your factory plug so you have no guesswork on what wire is which everything is color coded and labled .. plus it keeps everything neat and professional this is where the biggest mistake happens is the installer will cut off the factory plug then are left trying to figure out what wire is what .. ok now after that is said if you still want the diagram you can download it from my page i scaned it from a one of my GM manuals in acrobat format its a general late model chevy stereo schematic http://www.geocities.com/evilparadise02/stereo.html
