Audio Systems: RADIO, electronic shops, dash kit

  I HAVE A 1989 F-150 IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. MY LED WENT OUT ON MY RADIO AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. IS IT POSSIBLE AND WHAT WOULD I NEED TO DO? I DEPEND A LOT ON THE CLOCK.

   For the most part LCD displays arent repairable most of the time the faceplate has to be replaced .. in the case of a factory unit its really not cost efficent to spend the money and time to repair it when it can be replaced with a cheaper and better aftermarket unit just make sure to buy the harness adapter and dash kit .. if you want to keep the factory look you might try looking around on ebay for a used unit from the same era as for repairing your old unit you might give a call to a few local electronic shops to see if they can replace the display .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
