Answer
Daquan,

ok , the first step is to lay out your design and choose your speakers , amp , headunit(cdplayer) , subs, and enclosure .. now if your not very familier with your cars interior/wiring you might want to invest in a haynes repair manual (about 12-15 bucks) this has pictures and gives full in-depth instructions on everything from interior speaker replacement to actual wire diagrams it will be very helpful.. ok now you have 2 things you need to clear up before you can get on a wire plan .. you will need to bypass your factory amp sometimes this can be done at the factory unit when you leave an extra plug unconnected but sometimes you have to remove it and run new wires from all 4 speakers *which is what i recommend because it insures you that everything is connected and will work* ok after you have your head unit picked out besure to buy a wire harness adapter from radio shack this will wire into the new units harness then simply plug back into the factory plug SO DO NOT CUT THE FACTORY PLUG OFF .. ok you will only be using say 3 wires from this harness plug the other speaker wires will be run individually from each speaker to the correct location on the adapter harness.. ok that has your head unit wired up.. on your subs and amp .. depending on your amount of room you have pick a box that fits what you want to sacrefice and also howmany subs you want to house lets say you want a 2 - 10" SVC subs with 350watts RMS and 700 watts max .. you will need a 800 watt amp roughly *pay attention to the amps RMS watts and the subs RMS watts and match them up* now with any amp over 600watts you really need to use a farad capacitor a 1/2 farad will work up to 800 watts but over that you need atleast 1 or 1.5+ .. ok your amp needs 3 wires to function 12v which needs to come directly from your battery through a 30 amp inline fuse to your amp .. it also needs ground and a turn on/rms wire which is your 12v ignition/accessory wire on your wire harness adapter splice into it and run back with it to the amp .. ok i think i have touch the bases with everything you need to do .. about the box for a lexus .. a small bandpass enclosure with dual 10's should fit fairly snug inside but always measure before you buy .. about the dynomat there is a cheap alternative but i cannot remmeber the name but its at true value hardware i believe so check around there .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
