Audi Repair: Allroad suspension leaks after sensor replaced, free diagnosis, sensor replacement

Question
Hi. I recently had my height sensor replaced, because the ABS, EPS, and leveling system warning lights were activated. Since then, when the ride height is at level one or two, it constantly has to engage the compressor to re-level the car when it is being driven. When parked, and the engine is off, the car will lower itself. If at level one, I can hear a hissing noise coming from the front passenger wheel well area. Within a few minutes, the front-end is entirely lowered. At level 2, it takes several hours to "collapse." All sides are equally affected. When parked or driven at level 3, there is no problem. This issue didn't exist before the sensor was replaced (no hissing noises at all). Any advice before I get the bad news from the dealer?

I'm thinking that the air bag isn't the problem, since the level 3 setting has no problem. But, I'm no expert!  :)

Thanks for any advice.

Answer
I think on this occasion it is worth a visit to the dealer with the explanation that perhaps the sensor replacement caused the problem.  Or you may try a different dealer to investigate what the problem may be, tell them that you had the sensor fixed by someone else but you want them to check their work...  A free diagnosis is worth having, armed with that you can go back to your original dealer.  Good luck,  Jan
