Audi Repair: O2 connector plug - Disassembly, orange ring, metal connectors

Question
Hi... I attached a pic of a connector off an Audi I need to disassemble and then reassembe after fishing it through a small hole and recovering some stripped outer covering. How can I get the pins out? I already removed the orange ring and purple clip. Thanks!

Answer
I have never come across that before, Is it just for a replacement?  In which case normally there are no small holes to negotiate in all the O2 replacements I have done.  You can check to see if there are small tabs on the metal connectors, holding the pins in place. These can normally be manipulated with a very small screwdriver.  If the plug is moulded on, then there is little you can do other thans spicing the wires (I would cut each one at a different place, and then re-attaching the wires with new connectors or soldering them back together.  Let me know what car this is for,  Jan
