Audi Repair: about sound, beep sound, false alarms

Like i have 2000 Audi A6 and whenever i lock my car i see my car light flashlight but can't hear the beep sound... is it supposed to like this or it supposed to make beep sound?? and also like my alarm noise is there a way to increase the sound of it???

It is supposed to chirp when the car is locked, and the system is armed.  The horn for the alarm is usually in the side of the trunk, behind the panel, driver's side.  You can remove this horn and put in any siren if you like, but if it is too obnoxious, some people will 'shut it up' if it gives false alarms.  Good luck,  Jan
