Audi Repair: 2000 jetta 2.0, jetta 2, engine fans

Question
Please help! Both ac & engine fans not coming on. Just replaced coolant flange -
that split open . checked green fuses on top of battery/ok . is there a way to
jumper the temp.coolant sensor / fan switch - ac control module - what would
be the best way to isolate this problem ?

You can bypass the temp switch, it is in the lower part of the radiator.  Also check the relays, and all the fuses.  The best way to diagnose is to test as many of the individual components you can get to, and don't assume it is the most expensive part that has broken...  That's what repair shops do.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
