Question
This is a 2000 audi a4 turbo and the oil light came on and the top end started making all kind of noise and the oil level is full do you have any ideas

Just like many others A4. If you live in US (only) maybe in Canada also(but check with dealer)and if you have service history of oil changes done every 10K or sooner, just tow this car to the dealer. Audi covers all 1.8T engines with oil press. problems. If you do not have service history , get some written papers for oil changes from any shop / garage, Audi dealer should accept them.
If any of the bearing is damaged (in the cyl.head) the will replace the engine and turbo for free. they may try to sell t-belt and water pump. --- do it, but try not to pay for labor,because they have to swap it from the old block. Some engine come with new t-belt and pump, but some not.
