Audi Repair: doors and windows, ligths, audi a4

hi there, i just bought an audi a4 on a 2001, about 2 weeks ago  but from the first day i got the car i am having problems with windows and central locking. what is happening sometimes it works perfect and sometimes not its on and off.  thanks alot

Difficult to diagnose a problem from your description.  When driving the car do you notice any thing strange, like a door not showing closed or the interior ligths coming on?  Could be a door sensor that stops the car from locking, or it could be batteries in the remote, or it could be the locking system itself.  i need some more information before offering some useful pointers.  Let me know,  Jan
