Audi Repair: audi cabrio roof, audi cabrio, torx screws

Question
my roof has lost its hydrolic fluid can not find how to fill and bleed the system ?

Answer
The pump is in the right side of the trunk.  There is a plastic cup at the bottom of the pump, which uses pentosin fluid, the same as some Audi power steering systems.  Anyway, you can undo the bolts that hold the pump in, one is reached through a hole behind the rear bumper, and remove the pump.  The reservoir is held on with four torx screws, and a replacement costs about $80 from Audi.  Pretty steep price for a piece of tupperware, but I have not found any cheaper.  Replace the reservoir, put plenty of pentosin back in, the pupm is self bleeding, and with the pump going through all the cycles the reservoir should have a half full oil level if I remember correctly.  I've tried JB weld and other materials to fix the reservoir, save yourself the time and buy the new one...  Let me know,  Jan
