Hi, i have a problem with the handle/slider on the compartment in the boot where the roof folds away. You are only supposed to slide it from right to left when the roof is up to allow for more room in the boot for luggage. I tried to pull it from roght to left but it got about half way and i noticed alot of resistance then before i could do anything else the mechanism snapped and now the handle moves back and forth freely without moving the roof compartment up and down. Can you tell me if the handle is likley broken or has it just come unclipped inside????

It sounds like an interlock had not released, and as a result as you suggest either a control arm has come off, or a plastic part has broken off.  Without getting in there and having a look, it's impossible to tell.  You should be able to get to the mechanism by half lifting the roof up and looking at it from behind.  You may have to remove a cover to see the mechanism.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
