Audi Repair: Audi A8L 2004, warranty company, audi a8l

My engine,95,000  miles, failed last week.  Audi dealer says it needs a new engine.  Extended warranty company wants to replace with a used engine, but they cannot find a used engine.  If they find a used engine should I accept it or pay extra for a factory rebuilt engine?

I want to know what happened?  A8 engines run for long time . We had the same problem once at my dealer, It's hard to find any V8 used engines, so the custumer got new one. It's up to you what to get , but I will try everything to get new one, You don't know where the junk engine was. , and most of the time junk yards give only 30 days warranty.
