Question
i had to replace the timing belt and when i was done i was replaceing the front end parts i took off and i was missing one of the ends to one of the sensors the car will not start with out it it is a green sensor on the drivers side of the car there are 2 of them in this model the bigger of the 2 is the one thats missing i beilieve its the cranks sensor but when i go to audi or auto shops they show me a picture of this part and it is no way possible that it plugs into the plug we have left. Do you have an idea of what it may be?

Answer
Not quite sure what that is; the crank position sensor is on the back of the engine, right at the flywheel.  I don't think there is a sensor on the front of the engine, where exactly was this sensor located?  On the side of the engine, or somewhere else?  Let me know,  Jan
