Audi Repair: Audi A4 2.0 SE Automatic, intermittent problem, switch problem

Question
QUESTION: Windscreen Wipers, Indicators and Fan Heater "Sometimes" do not work? Fuse OK, Tried computer link up says all systems OK?

Any clue please?

Kind Regards

ANSWER: Normally this is an issue associated with a faulty ignition switch.  Check the ignition switch itself and the wires coming from it.  The engine starts up and runs OK when this happens?  When this circuit fails does wiggling the key help?  Let me know,  Jan

So your inability to check wiring and stupidity to diagnose a fault correctly ends up with a -1 for my knowledge?  You, sir deserve the bill your dealer gives you.  Please do not ever ask me to help you again.  I asked you to do a simple test that a 3yr old could do and let me know the result...  This was too difficult?  Good day to you.

QUESTION: Jan /

I am sorry I did not know this was a forum for abuse?

How else do I score an "expert answer" "Wiggling the key"???

If that is expert advice I wouldn't even try and and claim you are an expert

Answer
Believe it ot not, there is arecall on a series of ignition switches from Audi.  One of the problems is an intermittent problem with the contact when in the normal ignition-on position.  While you think wiggling the key is not 'expert advice' you would be amazed how many people used this very simple technique to establish an ignition switch problem.
And with reference to me being an expert, at least I fix my own car.  Good luck with your dealer bills.
