Audi Repair: Audi A6 headlights/heater/wipers/signal lights not working, audi a6, loose wire

Question
Hi Jan.

I read your answers to similar problems, however, I think  my situation might be a little different.

A few months ago, my heater started acting weird. Upon starting the car, if the heater was on, it would make a loud noise, like wind in a tunnel, from under the hood. If i turned the heater off, it would go away. The noise would also go away after about 5 minutes of driving.

Yesterday night, i started the car, and as i drove off, i realised that the heater, blinkers and wipers weren't working. I shut off and restarted the car, and all was good.

Today, the wipers, heater and blinkers seem to have died for good. Also, the headlights do not work in any position, but the orange corner ligts are on. I tried restarting, and it doesn't help.

Your answer to similar problems was that it's probably the ignition switch or the wiring. I was wondering if it's different in my case (because of the heater noise)
I was also wondering why the heater would make such a noise in the first place.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my wall of text :)

Answer
I don't think the issues are related to the heater noise.  Did you check the fuses and relays already?  I still think this could be a loose wire from the ignition switch or even the ignition switch itself.

It is also worth checking the load reduction relay, since this shuts off all the circuits you mention during starting.

Let me know what you find,  Jan
