Audi Repair: Blower motor, resistor pack, audifans

I have a 1998 A8 quatto. I believe I have to replace the blower motor. I need to figure out if it is really the blower motor and get directions how to replace it. Any advice or websites that can help? Thanks for your help and response by the way! Don

The blower motor is normally driven through a resistor pack which determines the speed of the motor.  Typically the motor will still work on one speed only, so that is a way to test if it is the resistor pack or the motor.  You can get info from forums such as audifans and audiworld to get ideas too.  Let me know,  Jan
