Audi Repair: Audi a-6 quattro 2003, brake light switch, audi a 6

i recently had my brake light switch was replaced about 2 weeks ago and now my left brake light is out and also the 2 brake lights on the trunk are out. I'm really hoping that it's just the bulbs are out but i'm feelign chances are it is the wiring in the car. i have no clue how this can be fixed if it is really serious or if maybe it's somthign i can fix. i don't know how much this should cost me if i take it to get fixed. Does anyone have any advice for me please.

It sounds like there may be a short in the wiring to the trunk; You can check the wires that run next to the hinges.  To replace the bulbs is fairly straightforward, and this is a place to start, but it does sound like there is a wiring issue, and typically this occurs in the area where the wires bend.
