Audi Repair: audi TT quattro 2001, throttle position sensor, tt quattro

My audi shakes and rattles whenever I go above 65mph.  also, at times when the car engine is on, but I am not moving (i.e. at stoplight) the rpms spontaneouly rev up.  Can you help?  Someone told me it was the engine mount...

There could be a number of reasons for this, and engine mount is possible but less likely than a bent wheel or a wheel which is out of balance.  The idle problem could be a throttle position sensor or an idle control module.  Get your wheels balanced first, and then get a VAG-COM readout to see if there are any DTC codes which may help diagnose the idling problem.
