Audi Repair: Audi a6 door panel, power window switch, audi a6

after recent heavy frost front door wont open from inside think handle has unhooked inside door panel cant get panel off could you/someone tell me how to remove panel thanks

Answer
Remove 2 screws that hold door panel in, one in front jamb, one in rear.
Pop out the power window switch, there is a small hole in the underside of the door handle that you can put a small screwdriver or hex wrench in and pry from the front of the switch toward the rear of the car and pull up.
Disconnect window switch.  Check for philips screws or bolts in the door handle.
Pull door panel up and off. not too tough.  Don't force anything, most of the plastic things holding things in place are expensive.  Let me know,  Jan
