Audi Repair: Audi TT replacement convertible top, audi dealership, audi tt

Question
I needed to get the top of my convertible top "replaced"...and on 3 occassions when it has been very cold outside, there has been actual "frost/ice" collecting on the INSIDE of my car...and then when it warms up, this moisture drips onto my interior. The Audi dealership says theres nothing wrong, that this is "common" and that the top isnt defective. They sprayed it with some sealer, which didnt seem to help, however, now the convertible top looks somewhat "fuzzy", even tho its new. I dont know what to do or where to go to get this remidied. I paid alot of money for this replacement convertible top, but I had to, due to shattering the glass on the back, which couldnt be fixed wihtout a replacement top. What do you suggest I do? Where can I go? The Audi Customer service people claim they have to stand behind the dealer diagnostic, because they are an authorized fixer of Audi's....but I am not happy about this at all and feel lik my hands are tied, short of suing Audi. Hope someone can help me!

Answer
I assume when you had the first top, you never saw this problem?  It is possible the material of this new top is different, and perhaps it is supplied by a different manufacturer than the originals.  If all this work was done by the dealer, I would go to another dealer and have them verify it is a genuine top and it is installed correctly.  If you get a different diagnosis, then it is worth to go to Audi customerservice and getting them to support you.  let me know how you get on,  Jan
