Audi Repair: central locking, audi a6 avant, audi a6

Hi i recently replaced the stereo in my audi a6 avant the stereo works fine but the central locking keeps blowing a fuse,the central locking worked fine before i changed the stereo any ideas please ???

When you replaced the stereo did you use conversion plugs or did you identify the wires you needed and connect them directly?  if you disconnect the stereo does the central locking fuse still blow?  Off-hand I cannot think why the fuse would blow unless you have caused a short in that circuit, but other than the anti-theft circuit there are not that many lines in common.  I would start by disconnecting the new radio, and see what the central locking does.
