Audi Repair: Radio Code, audi a6, radio out

I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.7 and I disconnected the battery, and after I hooked it back up the radio locked up. I can't find the code anywhere, and I'm not sure how to input a code.Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

yes, most of the time radio goes into safe mode when battery is replace. Check your radio manual and trunk , where spare tire is , sometimes the sticker is still there from the factory . It's 4 digit number. The last thing - go to the dealer (only dealer will get this code).If you can pull the radio out, there is a number on the side ( most time on r/ side) which starts with AUZ...... . Get this and your Vin# and than I will try to get the code.
