Audi Repair: 96 Audi A4 wont start, loose ground, audi dealership

Question
About 2 weeks ago my car would not start. I got the starter replaced, and it
started fine from then on. About a week later, it failed to start again. I had it
towed to a audi dealership this time and it magically started for them. I asked
them to check it out anyway, and they said nothing was wrong with the starter
system. The car started fine for another few days, and now it consistently does
not start for me. Whats wrong with it?

Answer
hello
I hope you mean that it doesn't crank. if it's just making tik, tik, sound - looks like a bad solenoid on the starter
or you may have loose ground wire. Most of the Audis has big/fat wire on the r/side which grounds the engine . Make sure the wire is not loose or rusted
