Audi Repair: signale are not working in my audi a4 98 quatrro, a4 quattro, audi a4

i have an a4 quattro 2.0 1998 and my signal just turned bad .but when i turned on the alarm they blink .i check the fuse and the flasher and they are all working .i also use the signal in an other a4 the same year . i guess there is some thing how turned bad in the emergency blinks but i don t know wath it is maybe you can tell me wath and how to get in it .i will appreciate your help .it already cost me allot so your help will save me some money thinx

There are 2 relays inside 4 way flasher switch, Most of the time , the one that operates turn signals goes bad and the other stays OK. I will start with flasher switch first.
This problem is on US models , I'm not sure about Euro cars.
