Audi Repair: timing belt/battery discharge, pr guy, turbo power

Question
My Audi is a 2000 A6 2.7T, bought new currently 46,000 mi.  Manual says replace timing belt at 104,000 mi but no age mentioned.  Called Audi; PR guy called me back and you never heard so much double-talk. Should the timing belt be replaced after 7-8 years?  Also, if this car sits more than two weeks the battery is too discharged to start the car; drive it more, or is this a drain that needs to be found?  Thanks, Mike

Answer
hello.
It's up to you to replace t-belt. You have 2.7 T (Turbo power!!)I think it's a good idea to replace before 8  years.
Battery, how old is it??, If it's Audi battery and it's older than 3-4 years - replace it . If it's new - it should not discharged.
good luck         pltech
