Sir,
i have Audi V8 Quttro 1990, it has been left long time ago without being used, now when i start its engine it would run very smoothly but after 5-10Km Temp guge would increse rapidally to reach up to 110C and here the engine will stop running suddenly and dashboard checking screen will read "Cut". some michanics said to me that the reason beyond that rapid accelleration of heat is the engine, there is no obvious reason for that temp increase. any way if i would wait for about 15-20 min to run the engine it would starts again but to stop after anthor 5-10 when engine heat start to elevate.

Answer
Hi
at this point it's going to be hard for me . Make sure your radiator is clean inside , you can disconnect both hoses and run water , using water hose , water must flow easy . If this is OK  and car still overheats, but your lower hose on radiator is still colder that upper one  I will think that water pump is not pushing  coolant or there is somethig blocking the flow. ?
Good luck
