Auto Airbag System Repair: replacing a deployed airbag 06 Ford Taurus, airbag system, ford taurus

We have to replace a deployed drivers air bag on our Ford Taurus.  We purchased a new one from Ford but now I've received conflicting info on what else has to be replaced. Does the module and driver's seat belt have to be replaced or is there a way they can be reset?
