Cadillac Repair: gears wont change, tredway, a-1 forensics

Question
If gears won't change,do I need to change transmission fluid or a new transmission? Car runs great!

Answer
Hello Sandy,

The first question I have is-Make, model, year?

Is a Cadillac or something else? Just ran across a Suburban 4x4 that did not move. Transmission fine. Transfer case blown up!
Keep in mind, the answer to your question is not that simple without being at the vehicle.
You could have the engine warmed up, run it through the gears, place in Park and check the fluid level if it has a transmission dip stick. Some units were sealed and this option did not apply.

If low or empty add appropriate level of correct fluid as stated in the owners manual and see if it goes into gear.

Also when you have the dipstick out, note the color. Should be bright red. If black or brown, not good. Put the stick to your nose and smell the fluid. Does it smell burned?

Were you having issues before, or did this happen with no warning? Was the engine revving up and felt like car was not moving?

I need these questions answered and maybe I can help you.

Now, my quarterly advertisement for what we currently do very successfully, which could equate to David and Goliath.
It is assumed that when one has comprehensive insurance, there is no need to worry if the vehicle gets stolen. The insurance company will take care of it and the insured goes on. The answer to that thought is WRONG!!! You are now about to become a victim yet another time. You are going to be investigated by your insurance company. Had nothing to do with the theft and no worry. You will just tell the truth and they have to pay. Want to bet?
Because the vehicle has a so-called anti-theft system installed, the vehicle is impossible to drive without the insured's keys!
The insurance company will hire an outside vendor known as a forensic locksmith to examine the ignition. The conclusion in the report will read that the vehicle was last driven with a key of the proper type which is assumed to be yours, the insured.
The forensic conclusion is technically dishonest, because key of the proper type is not a specific key. It can be a thief's key. In the case of a used vehicle in which the vehicle was purchased with one key, it could have been driven with an unaccounted for key. It could have been driven with a cloned key, or possibly the vehicle was towed.
During the investigation (yes, the carrier is building a circumstantial case against you in appearance. It does not have to be true. It just needs to appear to be true!

This is where innuendo, assumption and conjecture serve as fact. When arrested, you would be given your Miranda rights in which you are told everything you ay will be held against you. The same applies here, but you are not told.
Insureds get defiant and the first thought is to retain an attorney. You are playing right into their hand by doing this. The attorney knows the law, but they do not understand the investigation process, auto theft, forensic, the ignitions. In essence, you have no protection!
You may be ordered to an EUO (Examination Under Oath). This is a deposition of sworn testimony that is part of an investigation, but other than the sworn testimony has no legal standing because it isn't an active court case. What can the attorney do for you during an EUO? Nothing, but object, but you still need to answer the questions!

It has been quite common for us to fix these cases that were so screwed up by an attorney getting involved.
What do we offer? Once retained, we take all the information that you can supply us as to what has happened in the investigation. We guide you through the claim on what to say and how to say it. We script you the night before the EUO. You are prepared and usually no matter what hyperbole they may think they have on you, they soon find that the insured is coming off like a professional witness. This throws their game off and in many, claims that were slated for denial after the EUO are paid.
If denied, we will sue them and our case is not built on legal arguments because we are not lawyers, but on cold hard fact. We are known by most corporate offices of major carriers.

Here is what we have to offer:
Over 2 decades of auto theft investigation protocol experience. Hundreds of hours of adverse sworn testimony. 2 decades of experience in auto theft, forensics and vehicle fire. 2 decades as court qualified expert witnesses. Oh, yeah, we know the experts they use and their flawed forensics!
We have law firm references from across the country as well as individual insureds we have assisted.
If you find yourself in this situation, there is only one firm to call nationwide-
