Cadillac Repair: 2004 Deville- drivers side electrical, auto theft siu claim investigation euo denial expert, forensic ignition consultant

Question
The driver's side electrical functions- windows, mirror, and lock- periodically lose power. The functions on the other doors remain working. I checked the main plug attached to the underside of the conrol panel on the door, and it is secure. I gave the wiring leading from under the hood to the door an expert 'jiggle.' From there, I'm stumped.

Answer
Hello,

It definitely sounds like a intermittent connection issue. Could be as simple as service loose ground. I do not have any wiring schematics for the car, however I would obtain the factory service manual for the car. Its about $30 at http://www.alldata.com
You can instantly download and keep it for a year and accessible on all computers.
Very cheap investment and will assist you in your own repairs on the vehicle. It will give you all ground and power locations.

Intermittent problems are the worst to repair. You may find a connector you did not look not as well.

Good luck!
