Personally, I like mobile1. It is not cheap, however I have run it in about every car I have had and never had any engine issues over 200,000 miles. If you don't want to go to that brand, that is fine except I always recommend synthetics. Instead of changing the oil every 3,000 miles, you can change the filter at 5,000 and change the oil at 10,000.
