Cadillac Repair: ground wire placement, auto theft siu claim investigation euo denial expert, forensic ignition consultant

Question
when im driving around, the radio in my 98 cadillac catera works when i hit a bump and then the smallest bump will make it cut out....im trying to find where the ground wire connects, whether its on the frame or not to see if it has a loose connection...where can i find it??

Answer
Hello,

This is not a frame ground problem. The radio is automatically grounded just with the antenna being plugged in. There is also a ground that goes to the plug, but it is a shared ground and you would most likely have issues with other options on the vehicle as well.

Your description leads me to believe that possibly you have a cracked printed circuit board in the stereo. You can pull out the stereo and check the connections at the plug ins, but you will find them pretty secure from the factory. As for the grounds, you will need to look under the dash for bolts going into steel bracketery with multiple black wires leading to the bolt.

From your description, it sounds like there is an internal issue with the stereo and it is not worth fixing, if you could even get it fixed. You may have to go to a junk yard to replace.

These problems are rare, but they do happen. The circuit boards are made of plastic and they do crack giving you a connection problem as you describe. You can check the connections, but I doubt if you will find anything wrong.

If you had a frame ground issue, you would have charging issues and more.

Please get back to me on what you find.

Good luck!

This is an introduction to our brand new website involving information the insured does not know until it is too late!

Warning to all that have full coverage on their vehicle that have a theft claim!!! Chances of the claim being paid on a vehicle equipped with a factory theft deterrent such as a transponder (computer chip in the key) of a theft claim being honored are very slim. The insurance companies have locksmiths hiding under the title "forensic" that will say the vehicle is equipped with an anti theft system and the vehicle is impossible to steal, thereby implicating the insured. The latest we have run across this week, is so egregious, the vehicle was not even physically examined. The insurance "experts" opined only on the factory theory of the description and operation of the, as they call it "anti theft system" as taken out of the manual, supplied 2 reports implicating the insured without any physical evidence!
When getting the policy, the insurance company gives a discount for having an "anti theft system." By acknowledging this, you are agreeing the vehicle is impossible to steal. What they forget to tell you when saving all this money according to the TV commercials, is that if the vehicle is stolen, they have no intention of paying the theft claim.

We are the only firm in the world that will take on this insurer fraud in different capacities. Either as a consultant for the insured during the SIU investigation, assisting you in building a case against them and emboldening the insured that is being accused of the nefarious act of fraud. We offer a second opinion on the vehicle for the insured, as a consultant to attorneys as to the different ways the vehicle can be stolen, or to prove that the insurance expert can not factually support their conclusion. We also offer consulting on ignitions, transponders and theft to attorneys and supply expert witness services for trial.
I have been qualified as an expert in a USAF court Martial, federal court and in 17 different states. Information on our new website posted in the next couple days will demonstrate just how scared State Farm is, of us exposing their "experts" as being not only biased and incompetent, but very deceptive in their conclusions.
When State Farm at deposition surrounding a stolen car has to ask me about my love life, that kind of says it all doesn't it?
Watch for the brand new http://www.siuinsuranceinvestigation.com!!! The coming information is going to blow your mind and shows a pattern over the last 5 years to squelch the one and only expert that dares expose the insurance experts as not being able to support their findings.
These insurance companies don't want to have anyone defend the insured.
If not involved in the theft, you are expected to have your name ruined, subjected to possible prosecution (Does not matter if you are innocent-you have been tried and convicted by your insurance company during the SIU investigation on your auto theft claim). Together, the insurance experts have conspired with the insurance companies to destroy the one and only hope you have.

The public is under the general assumption that the more high tech these vehicles get, the more they are secure against theft. In reality the opposite is true!! Vehicles these days are much easier to steal, as I demonstrate in August on MSNBC's series "Crime Inc."

So the next time you see these TV commercials on all the time, with insurance companies as to how they are going to save you all this money (State Farm says they can save you up to $500.00) all one needs to do is think of this: What are they leaving out to save you all this money?
This site will be up and running this week with information being added constantly. I don't even have to say much, but I will. The court documentation stands by itself. It's only paranoia when they are really out to get you--lol Do I pose a threat to their game? You betcha!
