Cadillac Repair: transmission, herb miller, arc forensics

i was driving my 1995 deville and one day the reverse didnt work the car still went forward but only went about 35mph i havent done anything yet i was wondering if it was the transmission or maybe if it could be the screen or something else? thanks n advance

It can be many things, but the screen is the very first thing I would try, however make sure you have a transmission dip stick, if not it is a sealed system and needs to be done at a gm dealer (not Cadillac-too expensive).
