Answer
Hello,

The bad news is that intermittent problems are almost impossible to repair and your symptoms can be caused by electrical, electronic or fuel. Electrical could be a wiring issue. Electronic can be in the computer system, associated wiring and sensors, coils, and fuel can be in delivery or in the injection system.

This car is not like the 70's car did something, the problem would be the same on all of them. Would love to give you a silver bullet for repair so you could go right to the problem and fix it. It just has not been that simple for years and years.

Even here, it is very common for my readers to replace countless parts on a guess and not fix the problem until we can back up to the initial problem.

In your case, it does it at times. You say you know there is something wrong with the electrical system. How do you know that without eliminating a fuel problem? Remember you have injectors, and an electronic fuel pump.

I don't know a good tech that will guess on an intermittent problem.

The only thing you can do is have a diagnostic scan on the car, but in reality, if it is not acting up at the time, I doubt if it will be found.
