IS THERE A FUSE BETWEEN MY BATTERY AND MY ALTERNATOR. I HAVE A 199 ELDORADO/NORTHSTAR/ETC. IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The only fuse I am aware of for the alternator is the gauge fuse. You have more than one fuse box and you need to consult with your owner's manual for their locations.

Some systems also used a fusible link going to the alternator. The fusible link if equipped would be part of the red power wire going to the alternator. If equipped you can go under the hood and the red power wire could be pulled on. If it seems rubbery and springs back it does have a fusible link and needs to be replaced. Fusible link is in bulk at parts store and can be purchased and is easy to replace.
