Is it possible to bypass the ignition key switch on a '95 Cad Deville? Turning the switch on off repeatedly will start the car, thus removing the "starter disable theft system, wait 3 minutes" or something similar to that. There is no code displayed (058), just that annoying message. I tried unplugging the passkey decoder but that did not work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You have come to the right place.

Disabling this factory junk is easy, but you need to resd the resistance on the key and cut the two small white wires in an orange sheath and install the correct resistor. I recomend going to an alarm store and having it done because they have the bypass kit because they come with every alarm with remote start that they don't use.

If you do this have them install a hidden starter kill switch or something because it takes 30 seconds to steal the car with a screw driver and they steal old cars all the time.
