Cadillac Repair: oil presure, oil light, oil level

i have a 98 deville hasn't been driven in two years but my oil pressure light is coming on and the dashboard says to stop engine. what is the problem?

Hello,

First you need to check the engine oil level and fill it if needed.
If the oil level is full, could be the oil has broken down.
I would suggest changing the oil.

Other than that an internal engine problem gas developed.

By the time the oil light comes on, the pressure is down to less than 4 pounds. Average oil pressure is 20-30 pounds.

You cannot drive the engine with the oil light on without doing major damage to the engine.
