Cadillac Repair: 1992 Cadillac Cluster, fuel gauge, sevilles

I have a 1992 Cadillac, my speedo cluster, a/c, fuel gauge and key is stuck in ignition. I have replaced the cluster. I have been told it is a grounding problem. Any ideas on how to fix problem. Thanks

Hello,

You did not state what kind of Cadillac because the Devilles have a steering column mounted tansmission shifter and Eldos and sevilles are floor mount.

Most common reason for key not coming out of ignition is trans is not fully in park. This problem is caused by a frayed park cable.

Force the shifter into park and see if key comes out.
