Cadillac Repair: Leaking Fluid, coolant leak, aluminum engine

Check engine light,recent code E048.Overheated.So I filled radiator antifreeze.Tranny with Lucas Oil/Trans fluid mix because tranny very low to almost none in less than 2mos from full. Tranny still having trouble going into third and sometimes won't. Fluid leak (very wet) on drivers side behind radiator from rectangle aluminum plate with 4 tubes attached to top where leak appeared to be sourced. Any ideas?? Thanks

if you look in recent archives in the past 2 weeks, I have answered many questions about that flawed aluminum engine Cadillac has used for close to 30 years and the disasterous results from overheating these junk engines.

People don't like to be told they were suckered into buying junk, but the truth of matter is that they have a ton of issues that will cause overheating and once overheated can be very costly to repair.

As for your coolant leak I have no way of advising you withhout seeing what you are talking about. Send me some photos to robo14@aol.com
