Cadillac Repair: VATS, chasing ghosts, passkey

Question
My Passkey II system failed a short while ago.  Although the starter runs, the car will not start because there is no fuel pressure.  As you may know the trick with installing resistors under the dash to override the key, I did that.  So the only other thing I've figured that I can conclude is wrong is the VATS module itself.  But I can't find it on my 1996 Deville Base model.  Can you help me locate it so I can override it?

Answer
Hello,

You have something else other that the vats going on here.

The module should be behind the gove box. you may have to remove the pass air bag to get to the module.

What you need to understand is that not only is fuel shut off but there is injector pulse as well.

I would be looking at this forgetting about the vats, this is not the problem with your car. If you bypassed and it cranks, it is something else. You are chasing ghosts. No matter what you do with module, you will have the same problem.
