Cadillac Repair: smoke, head gasket, white smoke

i got a 1988cadillac deville and white smoke comes from the tail pipe.Do the codes that pops up have anything to do with the smoke??!!!

The codes could relate to your problem, but white smoke out of a Cadillac engine tells me it was over heated and if you are lucky, you only blew a head gasket. The block or head could be cracked and none of this damage tells you what the primary problem that caused the engine to over heat.

You need to have the vehicle taken to a service center for diagnoses before the engine quits running altogether.

You have major engine damage with white smoke.
