Cadillac Repair: 1991 Sedan Deville, throttle positioning sensor, e55

Question
My 91 Sedan Deville, 4.9 V8, runs but then it bogs down and dies. Especially trying to drive it. Could this be the timing? I replaced the Throttle Positioning Sensor, 04/03/2010. The following trouble codes were displayed.. E31, E52, E55, F48... Any ideas?

Answer
Hello,

You need to find out what the error codes mean. The car is 20 years old and I no longer have that information. It would sure be nice if I got paid for plugging this site, but this is the source I use. Http://www.alldata.com Pay the $25 for membership. Scroll the chart. Find your make and model. Download the info.
This is all the factory information you need to diagnose any problem.

Your discription of your problem could be consistent with a plugged catalytic converter.

Good luck!

OK, that does it. I am no longer going to try to help anyone on engine problems. I cannot be expected to have code information on a 20 year old car.
I know, maybe I should just pay out of my pocket to get the information on his car, spend hours researching his problems and fix his car over the web for free.

Many people have enjoyed my assistance, but all it takes is one goof to ruin it all. I am sorry, but from now on due to this guy,  I will only answer questions related to insurance, anti-theft systems.

I would thank you for the terrible rating and the insults.
