Cadillac Repair: Cadillac want start, 1990 cadillac seville, cadillac seville

Yesterday my wife was on her way to work when she got to the car she turn the keys the car did not start i thought it was the battery but when i took it to get charge put it back in the car it still didn't crank it want to start but it don't crank it clicks could U help me it is a 1990 Cadillac Seville 4.5 liter fuel injection could you give me some advice please i am 18 years stay 250 miles from my family I'm in fort Lauderdale for college with my wife i don't nobody i need directions what to do thank you.

From your description of clicking and no crank, I would suspect a bad starter solenoid or bad starter.
If you can get to it, try tapping the starter with a hammer and see if it will crank afterward.

This is not a VATS anti-theft problem.
