QUESTION: I have a catera all of a sudden it started misfireing and running rough. changed plugs but no change is there a sensor gone bad

QUESTION: yes i had it pluged into a dignostic reader and the code read po505 and miss fireing on #1 and #6 cylender. Is the idle control sensor bad or is it called idle position sensor. is that the sensor located on the top of the motor

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL VOLT/OHM METER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
