Cadillac Repair: How to gain access to the starter on a 1996 4.6L Cadillac Deville, volt ohm meter, cadillac deville

I see that the starter is located underneath the intake manifold for the 1996 Cadillac Deville 4.6L Northstar.  How do I access it to replace the bad starter.  Thanks.

Just remove the long bolts of the plenum which is the large aluminum cover on top of the engine to access the starter.

QUESTION: How and by what method did you determine that the starter is faulty as it is RARE that a starter goes bad.
