ANSWER: What you need to do is access the vehicles computers and see what CODES appear on the FUEL DATA DISPLAY.
1. Turn ignition switch to the ON position. Do NOT start the engine.
2. Simultaneously, push and hold the OFF and WARMER(^) buttons on your CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL for
3 seconds and release them.
3. Look at your FUEL DATA DISPLAY for a combination of LETTERS & NUMBERS to appear followed by
the word HISTORY or CURRENT for each code that displays.
4. Write down EXACTLY what displays on the fuel data display which will stop displaying codes and you will see PCM?
5. Push and release the AUTO button on your CLIMATE CONTROL display and turn OFF the ignition key.

AnswerYour problem is that you have a fault in the PRNDL switch which tells the computer what gear you are in when you select the gear by moving the shift lever into DRIVE , Reverse, etc,etc.
