Cadillac Repair: 93 eldo shuts off no fuel pressure, fuel pump filter, fire stone

Hi i have a 93 eldo. touring coupe with a 4.6l northstar. It shuts off approx. after15 min . sometime starts right back and than back off sometime not at all and have to wait approx 30 min. sometimes it even starts and its fine for a while. changed fuel pump, filter, relay, control mod and coil. caddy dealer says it a communacation problem. been to them twice, i think they know just like taking my $$$. I can here the fuel pump come on right after it shuts off but still no fuel pressure. takes a bit to build. HELP!!!! Thanks

Everyone thinks they need to take their car to the dealer to get fixed. You are paying double for anything done. I recommend taking the vehicle to a reputable service center like Fire stone, Good year, Sears etc. Most have the same testing equipment. You need to call around and explain the communications problem and if they have the diagnostic equipment for your car.

The problem you are referring to is somewhere in the vehicle's computer system. Could be a sensor, a bad computer and other issues. There has to be full communication in order for the vehicle to run properly. Quit going to the dealer and find out who else can fix the car.
